Virtual Executive Coaching Services: Anywhere, Anytime

“Anywhere, anytime” is a hosting claim, not a coaching method. Remote sessions are now ordinary for CEOs who travel. They fail when the hour is treated as a catch-up call with no paper, no decision, and no end.
Use this page to decide whether the next engagement should stay on a screen.
When remote is the right default
Stay virtual when the work is a recurring decision review, the leader already has a private room, and the coach does not need to see the building. Most of Coaching for Remote-First Leadership Teams belongs here. So does follow-up after an in-person start.
Do not stay virtual when the issue is a fractured ExCo, a chair relationship that has gone cold, or a first meeting where you still need to know whether you can sit in silence together. Pair that judgement with Virtual Executive Coaching: Does Remote Work?.
Compare the two rooms
| Condition | Keep it virtual | Move it in person |
|---|---|---|
| The brief is one decision per session | Yes | Only if the papers are a mess |
| Trust is not yet there | A short trial is fine | Prefer a first day in the same city |
| The team is the client | Use it for 1-1s between offsites | Run the team session in one room |
| The CEO is between two headquarters | Use it for cadence | Meet once a quarter where the tension is |
| Confidentiality of the setting is weak | Do not coach from airports | Book a closed room |
How to run the hour
Send a one-page brief the day before. Start with the decision, not the week. End with one sentence the leader will use in the next meeting. If that sentence cannot be said out loud, the session was a debrief, not coaching.
